55 year old male patient came with complaints of:

1. Weakness of voice - 1 year

2. Aspiration while drinking fluids - 1 year

History of thyroidectomy 1 year back

Video laryngoscopy showed:

Right vocal cord paralysed with falling forward of right arytenoid.

Left cord was mobile.

Phonatory waste could be seen.

The patient was taken up for medialization thyroplasty using Gor-Tex.

This surgery was performed under local anesthesia.
